CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University will host the Collingsworth Family Concert following the annual Derby Rose Gala April 7. The concert is at 8 p.m. Friday, April 7 in Ransdell Chapel at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky.

The Collingsworth Family is a group that originated with Phil and Kim Collingsworth who had traveled for multiple years and took part in public ministry performances at church camps and revival campaigns.

By 2000, Phil and Kim had transitioned into an all-concert ministry and their four children, Brooklyn, Olivia, Courtney and Phillip, were also preforming with them, each of them having their own talents.

The Collingsworth family takes great joy in bringing the word of God to their audiences through their musical performances. Phil and Kim strongly believe in the power of prayer so, even with their busy schedule, they still take time every week to stop and hold private prayer meetings.

The Collingsworth Family works with some of Nashville’s top producers and their music has appeared on nationwide radio broadcasts. The group has performed in the United States, the Cayman Islands and recently in Sweden.

Since 2006, Phil, Kim and their children have received multiple awards, in many cases, more than one a year. Among these honors are Mixed Group of the Year, Musician of the Year and Young Artist of the Year from Singing News Fan Awards.

They have also received honors from the Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards, Ovation Awards and various other events.

Phil, Kim and their children love making music, traveling and preforming. However, using the talents that God blessed them with to bring praise and glory to Him is the highlight of, and main principle behind, what they do.

Tickets for the performance will be $25 per person and can be purchased by contacting the Office of Development at (270) 789-5211 or online at https://www.campbellsville.edu/alumni/collingsworth/.
