CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s School of Music will ring in the Christmas season with its fourth annual “Christmas Tapestry” concert on Friday, Nov. 30. The program will begin at 7 p.m., and, for the first time ever, will be held on the university’s campus in the new Ransdell Chapel.
The concert will feature a wide variety of the school’s ensembles performing secular and sacred music of the season.
The Jazz Ensemble, the University Orchestra, the Chamber Choir, and the School of Music Festival Choir will be featured, as well as several other smaller ensembles.
The concert will also include several sing-a-long carols for the audience.
“This event is a favorite for many in the community and attendance has been quite high in the past, so plan to arrive early,” said Dr. Freida Gebert, associate professor of music at CU’s School of Music.
“Admission is free, so bring the whole family and get in the Christmas spirit!” Gebert said.
