CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s Church Outreach program, led by Dr. G Ted Taylor, associate vice president for development and church relations, is conducting “A Day of Kingdom Advance” in Taylor County churches on Sunday, April 3.
The Church Outreach student life teams are in charge of leading worship services through preaching, music and testimonies.
Taylor said, “Church Outreach is excited to send student life teams into Taylor County churches on April 3 for A Day of Kingdom Advance. Church Outreach is student servant leaders driven by the Great Commission to advance the kingdom of God.
“Life teams will be in 30 churches involved with 125 students participating.
“It is awesome to serve at Campbellsville University — a school that is Christ centered, church connected and changing lives for Christ. It is a powerful display of God’s goodness and grace when this many community churches gather together to advance the Gospel through the next generation of servant leaders.”
Wes Carter, Regional Director of Development & Church Outreach, said, “I cannot begin to express how proud I am of our students and how humbled we are to partner with local churches to advance the Kingdom through our young people.”
Churches participating include: Fannie Chapel CME, Mt. Union Baptist Church, Pleasant Union Baptist Church, Beech Grove Baptist Church, Lowell Avenue Baptist Church, St. Mark United Methodist Church, Elkhorn United Methodist Church, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church, Campbellsville Baptist Church, 3trees Church, Fairview Baptist Church, Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church, Saloma Baptist Church, Woodlawn Christian Church, Robinson Creek Baptist Church, Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church and Miller’s Chapel.
