CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Jason Garrett of Campbellsville, Ky., has been approved by Campbellsville University’s Board of Trustees to be promoted to assistant professor of communication.
Garrett had been serving as instructor of communications at CU since 2003.
He received his bachelor of arts degree in theater arts from Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, N.C. in 1998 and a master of communication degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va. in 2001.
Garrett has also been selected to teach with the Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS) for the summer of 2007. He and his wife will be teaching in Italy.
The KIIS program is a consortium formed of 19 colleges and universities in Kentucky, which organizes and coordinates a group of summer and semester study-abroad programs for college students.
He is married to Starr Garrett, instructor in theater and director of the theater program at CU.
