CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Donna Wilson, student accounts manager with Campbellsville University’s Office of Business Services, was the staff recipient of the Servant Leadership Award at CU recently.

Tim Judd, comptroller, who is Wilson’s supervisor, said, “She is always willing to go above and beyond in anything you ask her to do. She is an individual with vision and determination for her life and all those around her. Her compassion and concern for our students is remarkable.”

Judd said Wilson not only helps CU’s students, but she builds relationships with them and their families. “She shares in their dreams and is determined to help them succeed.”

Wilson completed her bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in administrative technology in December 2008. Three years later, she completed her master’s in business administration.

“This dedication to learning demonstrates her desire and motivation to excel in life. It has been a joy to watch her talent unfold in her role for the university,” Judd said.

Wilson serves at Elkhorn Baptist Church where she works in the youth program. “Children in our community need role models like her in their life,” Judd said.

“Her strong faith and desire to serve is contagious and inspiring to so many. There is so much to learn from the life example that she leads,” he said.

Wilson is a 1982 graduate of Taylor County High School. She attended Elizabethtown Community College where she received an associate in science in business management in 2003.

She will serve as an adjunct instructor in the fall at CU where she will be teaching in the FIRST CLASS area.

She is married to Tommie Wilson; they have two children, Chris and Branden Wilson. They live in Campbellsville.
