Campbellsville Elementary School hosted BEAR Night on Tuesday, March 22.

CES preschool, kindergarten and first-grade students attended and learned all about reading. They also had fun playing games. BEAR stands for Be Excited About Reading. At the event, Campbellsville University education students led several activities and games relating to reading.

CES students made their own dinosaurs using paper cut into shapes, played rhyming bingo, matched rhyming words, learned about the life cycle of an apple, glued together apple trees, learned about pollen and more.

Students attending also received a teddy bear and book, compliments of Campbellsville Independent Schools Family Resource and Youth Services Center.
