CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University will perform her 8th annual Christmas Tapestry at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 in Ransdell Chapel.

The event is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature a wide variety of the institution’s ensembles performing sacred and secular music of the season. Performing groups will include the Concert Band, University Chorale, Chamber Choir, Flute Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and many more.

This year, the School of Music will collaborate with the Taylor County Ministerial Association in a drive to benefit the Taylor County Food Pantry. Canned goods and non-perishable items such as shampoo and soap will be collected at the concert.

“The Christmas Tapestry has become a community favorite and attendance has been quite high in the past,” Dr. Tony Cunha, interim dean of the School of Music, said.

“The early starting time and free admission make it easy for the whole family to enjoy the music and get in the Christmas spirit!” he said.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,600 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master’s degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
