CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s School of Business and Economics will hold an information session at the Louisville Education Center, 2300 Greene Way, Louisville, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14.

CU offers several undergraduate and graduate business degrees. The bachelor of science with major in organizational management is available at the Louisville Education Center along with the MBA and the master of arts in organizational leadership.

“We have had a great deal of interest in our new additions to the business programs,” said Dr. Keith Spears, vice president for graduate and professional studies. “People in medical facilities are looking into healthcare management and HR specialists in the business community are seeking education in human resources.”

Dr. Pat Cowherd, dean of the School of Business and Economics, said, “We hope to bring undergraduate programs in healthcare management and human resource management to the Louisville Education Center in the near future. Currently, at LEC we are recruiting for organizational management, MBA, and the master of arts in organizational leadership.”

Spears said the LEC offers adult learners an accelerated program where classes meet only one night per week, Monday-Thursday. Furthermore, students may move progressively through the program taking a prescribed sequence of courses that can lead to the completion of a degree in only 18 months.

Spears said, “You now have the opportunity to better yourself and your own marketability through a quality program that is innovative, flexible, convenient and affordable. Come visit the open house to learn more about the School of Business and Economics programs and the LEC in general.”

“The Louisville Education Center provides adult learners with degree programs that are effective, dynamic, and practical,” he said. He said the class size is limited to small, intimate groups with the coursework blending theory with the practical.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,600 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master’s degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
