President of SBC Executive Committee to speak at chapel

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Dr. Frank S. Page, president and chief executive officer of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, will be the featured speaker at chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., on the main campus of Campbellsville University.

Page served as president of the Southern Baptist Convention from 2006 to 2008.

He is the author of several books and has traveled extensively. He has spoken on every continent, and his speaking engagements have taken him to places including Germany, Norway, Mexico, Israel, Ecuador, Australia, Nigeria, Brazil, Canada and Africa.

He has spoken at revivals, Bible conferences, family life conferences, lecture series at colleges and seminary chapels, and evangelism training conferences all over the nation and overseas.

He earned his Ph.D. degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in the field of Christian ethics focusing on moral, social and ethical issues.

He received his master of divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary and his bachelor of science degree with honors from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, with a major in psychology and minors in sociology and Greek.

Page is married to Dayle Gibson Page of Huntsville, N.C., and has three daughters.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.
