CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. –     Dr. Doug Bandow, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C., will speak on “The Middle East and the Trump White House” at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 for a Kentucky Heartland Institute for Public Policy (KHIPP) Forum in the Banquet Hall of the Badgett Academic Support Center at 110 University Drive, Campbellsville.

Everyone is welcome to attend the free event.

Bandow works for the Cato Institute that specializes in foreign policy and civil liberties.

He has worked as special assistant to President Ronald Reagan and editor of the political magazine Inquiry. He writes regularly for leading publications such as Fortune magazine, National Interest, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Times.

Bandow speaks frequently at academic conferences, on college campuses and to business groups.

He has been a regular commentator on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC.

He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from Stanford University.

KHIPP was created to focus attention on and facilitate public policy study and issues debate. KHIPP Forums, in keeping with the Christian mission of Campbellsville University, seek to encourage the involvement of Christian leaders in the public and civic arena.

A range of public issues are studied and presented by KHIPP engaging University students, faculty, staff, coaches and the public in a greater awareness and understanding of the myriad issues confronting our culture.
