CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University School of Education will host a reading of Ezra Jack Keats’ “The Snowy Day,” Thursday, Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the Beulah Campbell Collection Room, room 100 of the School of Education Building at 302 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.
Three sessions will be provided for children of faculty, students and children from local schools and early childhood programs who are 3-8 years old.
Students in the elementary teacher preparation program of the School of Education will be reading “The Snowy Day,” the 2010 Jumpstart Children’s book, followed by an art activity.
Since 1993, Jumpstart has been bringing at-risk preschool children and caring adults together in intensive, yearlong relationships to build the vital literacy, social and emotional skills children need to thrive.
