CU Residence Life to show anti-trafficking documentary

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Campbellsville University Residence Life will partner with the Exodus Cry, an anti-trafficking organization, Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel, located on the campus of Campbellsville University at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.

The event is free and open to the public.

A documentary “Nefarious: Merchant of Souls,” has been developed by Exodus Cry to expose and raise awareness of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. The documentary will be shown during the event. Due to the harsh reality of human trafficking, the documentary is only viewable for ages 18 and older.

Twenty-seven million men, women and children are affected by modern-day slavery. Residence Life hopes the event will “flood the darkness of modern-day slavery with the light and hope of Jesus Christ.
