CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.— The Rev. Neal Hatfield, evangelist, founder and director of Uplands Reach Conference Center, will speak at Campbellsville University’s weekly chapel service Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel, located on CU’s campus at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.

The public is invited to attend free of charge.

“Neal Hatfield is a man of integrity and a rock solid preacher of God’s Word,” K. Allan Blume, editor of the Biblical Recorder, said on the conference center’s website. “His passion for souls is unmistakable.”

In 1986, Hatfield and his wife, Sue, decided to start Uplands Reach Conference Center. “A family in our church gave us a 1969 travel trailer, and we loaded it with all we owned and drove 700 miles north to begin a dream,” Hatfield said.

The “dream” 26 years later hosts year-round conferences and retreats for people of all ages, and is using the “life-changing power of the Word of God to impact lives.”

The 107-acre campus is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and has a “rock-solid commitment to biblical truth and morality.”

Hatfield preaches approximately 30 revival meetings each year along with numerous youth rallies, conferences and special events.

Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,500 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master’s degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs. The website for complete information is campbellsville.edu.
