Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Campbellsville, KY is hiring for an Entry-Level Tax Preparer.
Do you want the opportunity to help your community while earning extra money? We do offer flexible schedules to all students, so that they can easily work around class schedules, while they are obtaining valuable hands-on experience in the tax preparation field. We are also willing to participate in any co-op or internship program that is offered by your school, so that these students can earn credits while working. These are seasonal positions starting the beginning of January 2022 and ending the end of tax season 2022. We do offer hourly wage, a completion bonus, AND AN EDUCATION CREDIT UP TO $1,000.
No previous experience is necessary. We will train the right person. Learning the in’s and out’s of tax preparation is a valuable skill that will benefit students for a lifetime, not just those in a business or accounting program.
The candidate would need to either complete the Online Fundamentals of Tax Preparation Course (FTP) or pass the Tax School Aptitude Test (TSAT). The FTP is perfect for those students that do have any tax preparation experience and have not taken any tax preparation courses. The TSAT would be ideal for any student that has already completed a course in individual taxation. Both of these are based on the 2020 tax and are FREE!!! Learn to speak taxes for those who can’t.
