Social Security Information

If you will be working on campus, you will be required to apply for a social security number before you begin working. CGE will help you with the process and provide rides to the Social Security Administration (SSA), or you can go on your own. The SSA is located behind Walmart.

You should only get an SSN if you will be working.

Application

Don’t forget to bring your paperwork to CGE before you go to the Social Security Administration office. They will not accept your paperwork without a DSO signature.

Transportation

CGE will provide transportation to the local Social Security Administration office. Please coordinate your transportation to apply for a social security number with staff at the CGE reception desk.
