When you were accepted to the university you received an email with instructions for logging into Tiger Net and setting your password.
Follow the directions in the email to set your account.
*If you do not see it in your inbox, check your junk mail folder. If the email is not there, contact your enrollment counselor.
Plan to have your visa appointment before August 1.
As soon as you receive your visa approval, send a photo or a scanned copy of your visa to your enrollment counselor.
You will not be enrolled in your classes until we receive confirmation that your visa application has been approved.
You have options:
Be aware: It will take approximately 1 and 1/2 hours to travel from the Louisville airport to campus and taxis can sometimes cost $175 or more. If you cannot arrive the day of the airport shuttle, it may be less expensive for you to arrive the day before and stay in a local hotel overnight.
If you need to arrive the day before the shuttle, we recommend that you stay at the Tru Hotel, Hampton Inn, or Springhill Suites at the Louisville airport. These hotels share a parking lot and we are planning to have the shuttle meet students who stayed overnight at the hotel after meeting students at the airport at 9 am.
Plan ahead: Plan to arrive on campus on August 17 or 18. CGE is scheduling a special welcome if you arrive on August 17. We will provide times and more information soon. Do not plan to arrive on campus before August 17.
*Athletes should contact their coaches about their required arrival dates.
CGE will communicate with you on a regular basis so that you will have the information that you need to prepare and come to CU and to succeed after you arrive.
